Barrie Colts Foundation Donates to Local Charities

BARRIE,ON - In the season of giving, The Barrie Colts Foundation was able to present cheques for $2,500 to each of four separate local charities in our community to help support their efforts. The donations were made from proceeds raised during 50/50 draws at Barrie Colts home games throughout the season.
The presentation was made to members from the following charities:
Josie McDonnell - Hospice Simcoe
"Hospice Simcoe is grateful for all the community support and this donation will be of great help this season!"
Stephanie Watkinson - The Salvation Army - Bayside Mission Centre
"The Salvation Army Bayside Mission Centre is really appreciative of the support and this donation from The Barrie Colts Foundation will go a long way in helping feed our community this holiday season."
Rowley Ramey - Seasons Centre for Grieving Children
"We certainly appreciate The Barrie Colts Foundation with all the things they do for our community, and we really thank them for making a difference within Seasons Centre for Grieving Children."
Cindy Tonn - Christmas Cheer Beer
"Christmas Cheer is really excited to receive the donation from The Barrie Colts Foundation. This donation greatly helps us work towards our goal of $250,000 and we just want to say thank you to The Barrie Colts Foundation for their generosity."
