LEWIS CENTER, Ohio – Tim Conboy scored a power-play goal with 28 seconds remaining in the third period to lift the Cleveland Barons to a 3-2 victory over the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks Saturday in an AHL preseason game at the Chiller North in Lewis Center, Ohio. Christian Ehrhoff and Shane Joseph also scored for the Barons, who defeated Cincinnati 4-1 Thursday at Kent State University. Kurtis Foster and Joel Stepp scored for Cincinnati. Dmitri Patzold stopped 24 shots in the win for the Barons, while Ilea Bryzgalov turned aside 24 shots for the Ducks. Cincinnati opens its eighth American Hockey League season Wednesday in Utah, the start of a three-game road trip.
