
Bears edge Norfolk 1-0 in final dress rehersal at Reading

Cody McCormick scored a late third period goal to lift the BEARS to victory. HERSHEY finishes the preseason at 2-1-0-0 with the regular season kickoff up next.
Both teams were scoreless well into the third period when McCormick redirected a hard shot from defenseman Agris Saviels past Admirals goaltender Michael Leighton for the game's only goal. Norfolk finished the night 0-6 on the power play while the BEARS were 0-8 with the man advantage. HERSHEY outshot the Admirals 21-20 in the defensive game played at the Sovereign Center in Reading, PA.
HERSHEY will open the regular season at Norfolk Friday night before hosting the Admirals for the 2004-05 home opener this Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. at GIANT Center. Tickets are still available for the opener by calling (717) 534-3911.
