
Barons and Smokies Rained out for Second Consecutive Day

KODAK, Tenn . - Today's doubleheader against the Tennessee Smokies has been postponed due to current and continuing weather conditions at Smokies Stadium in Tennessee.
The schedule for the road series against the Smokies will now go as follows: a doubleheader to make up for the postponement on Sunday beginning at 11:00 a.m. CT on Tuesday, a doubleheader to make up for the postponement today beginning at 5:00 p.m. CT on Wednesday and a single game with first pitch at 6:00 p.m. CT on Thursday. The May 22nd postponement between the two teams at Regions Field will now not be made up.
Following the five-game road trip, the Barons will return home for a ten-game homestand to wrap up the first half, beginning with five against the Mobile BayBears, with first pitch on Friday evening at 7:05 p.m. In addition to our Friday Night Fireworks, the first 1,000 fans 13 and older will receive a Rickwood Stadium 3-D Collectible item. Other highlights of the series include a mini bat giveaway on Saturday, a Salute to Armed Forces Sunday, Kids Camp Day on Monday, June 12th and T-Shirt Tuesday to wrap up the series.
