
Barons and D-Jaxx Rained Out Sunday

Birmingham Barons News Release
Sundays 2:05 PM game between the Birmingham Barons and the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx has been postponed due to inclement weather. The teams will make up today's game with a double-header on Monday night. The first game will begin at 5:00 PM with game two beginning 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first contest. Both games will be 7-inning contests.
Aaron Poreda (1-3, 2.01) is slated to start game one opposite Steven Hensley (NR). The Barons have yet to announce who will get the ball for game two. Kyle Parker (1-1, 4.91) will get the start for the Diamond Jaxx.

In addition, the Barons announced today that the team will make up its April 19th rain out in Tennessee with a double header on Saturday, May 23. The first game will start at 5:00 PM with the second game following 30 minutes after the first game ends. Both games will be 7 innings.
