
Diamond Jaxx rained out on Sunday

Birmingham, Ala. (May 2, 2009) - The Diamond Jaxx and Barons game scheduled for 2:05 on Sunday has been rained out. Tornadoes and severe weather in and around the Birmingham area have forced a postponement. There will be a double-header played on Monday night beginning at 5:05 with the second game to follow, thirty minutes after the conclusion of game one. It will be two seven inning games.
RHP Steven Hensley (0-0, 0.00) will make his Double-A debut in game and be opposed by LHP Aaron Poreda (1-3, 2.01) for the Barons. In game two, RHP Kyle Parker (1-1, 4.91) will go for the Jaxx and RHP Lucas Harrell (2-0, 2.70) will get the start for Birmingham.
