The Atlantic League All Star Game, Cowboy Monkey Rodeo, Zooperstars, a Motor Sports Thrill Show, a Chainsaw Juggler, 18 Fireworks Shows, Chubby Checker, Vince Papale, Jose Canseco plus Bobbleheads & Numerous Giveaway Nights Slated on an Incredible 2016 Lineup of BIG Events
Barnstormers fans can waken from their winter hibernation. The official 2016 Promotional Schedule has been unveiled, and it is an action packed extravaganza of big events, appearances, giveaway items and FUN. Once again, the Lancaster Barnstormers are poised to set the standard for both their "Weekly Promotions" and their jam-packed "Schedule of Events".
Weekly promotions include the Barnstormers' renowned fireworks program following every Saturday game plus six days of mouth-watering offerings that will satiate any hungry connoisseur of ballpark delicacies.
Monday
Pizza, Pinball and Beer presented by Lancaster Pizza Company - For only $24 fans can enjoy all-you-can-eat pizza and beer with unlimited pinball play in the Lexus RCF Suite from 6:30pm to 8pm.
Pig Roast in the Picnic Area - "Pig Roast in the Picnic Area" will be presented by Hess's Barbeque Catering. For only $20 fans can enjoy all-you-can-eat-pig roast, baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw and unlimited soft drinks from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
Tuesday
Fill Your Tummy Tuesdays - Fans can upgrade any ticket for $10 for an incredible all-you-can-eat selection of Hatfield hot dogs, nachos, fries, popcorn along with unlimited soft drinks from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
Chicken and Ribs in the Picnic Area - Hess's Barbeque Catering will be back out in the picnic area from 6:30pm to 8:30pm with barbeque chicken and ribs, baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw. Unlimited soft drinks are also included in the $20 price.

Hatfield Dollar Dog Night with $1 hot dogs and $1 small soft drinks all night long.
Beer & Wings in the Lexus LFA Suite - The Barnstormers' popular all-you-can-eat chicken wings and beer is BACK in the Lexus LFA Suite on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Soft drinks are also included in the $28 price.

Penn State Children's Hospital will be sponsoring the wonderful "Kids Get in Free" Program that enables any child wearing a youth athletic jersey to receive a complimentary ticket to any Barnstormers home game. Additionally, each Sunday a child who is a patient at Penn State Children's Hospital will be signed to a one-day honorary Barnstormers contract. They will receive a special Barnstormers jersey, participate in pre-game warm-ups, receive private hitting/pitching instruction from Barnstormers players and coaches, take the field with the team for the National Anthem and enjoy a VIP view of the game from the LNP Press Box. In celebration of these special Sunday games the Barnstormers team will wear special custom jerseys that have been designed by patients at Penn State Children's Hospital. Custom balloons will also be sold during each Sunday game to help raise funds for the hospital.
Fans will be given the opportunity to raise money for a good cause and possibly raise some money for their wallets at the Community Aid 50/50 Station as soon as you pass the front gates at Clipper Magazine Stadium. Over $20,000 was raised for Community Aid through the 50/50 last season. Community Aid improves the quality of life for individuals and families in our community by providing clothing and cash grants to churches and nonprofit charitable organizations.
The 2016 Promotional Schedule kicks off with a very special Opening Day program. Get ready to TWIST when the legendary Chubby Checker comes to Clipper Magazine Stadium on Thursday, April 28th presented by Willow Valley Communities. Chubby will lead Barnstormers fans in an attempt to set the Guinness Book of World Records' mark for the most people doing the Twist at one time. Additionally, back in 1960, the most popular kids' toy was the "Slinky," and in honor of that great time in American history, the first 1,000 fans who enter the gates on Opening Day will receive a Barnstormers themed "Slinky." Fans will also be treated to some throwback treats of the time throughout the night including Pixie Sticks, Chicklets, Fireballs and Razzles, courtesy of Lititz candy store Candy*ology.
Philadelphia Eagles icon Vince Papale will come to Lancaster for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life Night on Friday, April 29th. Papale was the inspiration for the popular 2006 film, Invincible, starring Mark Wahlberg as Papale. Papale is a cancer survivor who will provide inspiration for all the relay teams who come to the Clipper Magazine Stadium.
Friday, May 6th will include a special performance by America's Got Talent Motor Sports Thrill Show - The Fearless Flores Family, The first 1,000 kids 15 and under will also receive a youth T-Shirt courtesy of Hershey's Chocolate World.
The Cowboy Monkey Rodeo rides back into Lancaster on Saturday, May 7th. Cowboy Tim Lepard brings his famed capuchin monkeys fully dressed in their cowboy attire to ride border collies and lasso sheep and goats. The Cowboy Monkey Rodeo is a spectacle not to be missed. Expect tickets to be scarce for this very special night. Following this exciting game there will be a fireworks spectacular sponsored by Hershey's Chocolate World.
On Sunday, May 8th, the first 1,000 kids 15 and under will receive FREE passes to the Great Chocolate Mystery 4-D Show at Hershey's Chocolate World!
Monday, May 16th will be a salute to the Emergency Medical Services workers in Lancaster County as well as the first of two Lancaster County Career & Technology Center Nights at Clipper Magazine Stadium. The other LCCTC Night will take place on Monday, September 12th.
The Barnstormers are proud to announce an expansive partnership with Lancaster County Career & Technology Center. LCCTC students will intern in various disciplines such as operations, marketing, fan services, hospitality and catering. LCCTC representatives will be on hand during the majority of Barnstormer games to provide information on the vast subject areas that are taught. LCCTC is designing a "State of the Art" Information Center at Clipper Magazine Stadium to educate and bring awareness to the wonderful programs they provide for high school students and those adults seeking to further their skill levels and education.
State Representative Steven Mentzer and former Representative John Bear host one of the most emotional evenings, the annual "Salute to Veterans" program, on Friday, May 27th. WGAL legend, Dick Hoxworth, will emcee a very special pre-game program that honors our military personnel. Gates will open early for this special occasion and extraordinary entertainment at 4:00pm. There will be a special patriotic fireworks program following the game.
On Saturday, May 28th, the first 1,000 fans will take home the first in a set of three souvenir baseballs presented by Pepsi. Souvenir baseballs will also be given away to the first 1,000 fans on Saturday, July 16th and Saturday, September 10th.
"Bark in the Park," one of the longest standing Barnstormer traditions is slated for Sunday, May 29th. Fans are invited to bring their dogs to take part in the famed "Doggie Parade" before the game. The competition will be fierce in many categories, such as cutest dog and best-dressed dog.
Perhaps the most famous athlete in Lancaster County history will finally receive his proper due during Lancaster City School Spirit Night on Tuesday, May 31st when the Barnstormers honor the great Barney Ewell. Barney was a multiple world record holder in the 50, 100 and 200 yard races and was widely recognized as the greatest sprinter in the world between 1940 and 1946. Barney finally won his Olympic Gold in the 4X100 relay in the 1948 Olympics. Kegel's Produce and Hagelgans & Veronis are sponsoring this very special night. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a special edition Barney Ewell bobblehead.
Capital BlueCross is presenting a Barnstormers' Replica Jersey to the first 1,000 fans 16 and older on Saturday, June 11th. Oregon Dairy is also bringing in their famed Pumpkin Chucker Sling Shot to toss an enormous amount of candy into the outfield. Children 12 years old and younger will be invited to the outfield to collect all the candy that they can carry!
Sunday, June 12th will begin with a special pre-game concert by famed Lancaster County Christian Recording Star, Steven Courtney beginning at 12:15pm presented by CAP of Lancaster County Head Start Program. Demme Learning, along with other area businesses, is sponsoring The Imagination Library. Lancaster Sunrise Rotary will be donating 500 copies of the "Little Engine That Could" to the children of Lancaster. Each month, thereafter, a free educational, age-appropriate book will arrive in the mail.
The scouting community descends on Clipper Magazine Stadium with tents and backpacks for the Annual Scout Night Sleepover on Friday, June 24th. Over 700 scouts and their families camped out in the outfield of Clipper Magazine Stadium last year. On this same night Stadel Volvo is sponsoring a fundraising initiative for Alex's Lemonade Stand. Turkey Hill is donating 30 gallons of lemonade which will be used to raise funds for childhood cancer in memory of Alexandra "Alex" Scott, founder of Alex's Lemonade Stand.
Barnstormers fans will celebrate Faith & Family Night on Saturday, June 25th presented by Family Chiropractic of Lancaster. The first 1,000 fans 16 and older will receive a pair of Barnstormers' limited edition socks presented by Martin Foot & Ankle.
Sunday, June 26th is GO BEYOND Night with the Barnstormers as the Christian Community comes together to provide needed meals and clothing to those in need in Lancaster.
Lancaster County fireworks lovers will be ready for the Barnstormers' incredible Independence Day "Red, White and BOOM" fireworks spectacular presented by PA Lottery that will commence immediately following the game on Saturday, July 4th. The first 2,500 fans 18 and older will receive a PA Lottery ticket voucher and the first 1,000 fans 14 and under will receive a special edition Barnstormers "Glow-in-the-Dark" Hat presented by Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster.
The Atlantic League All-Star Game returns to Lancaster for the first time in nine years on Wednesday, July 13th. The Barnstormers will showcase the farming/dairy/agriculture industries that are so much a part of our culture in Lancaster County for the thousands of visitors who will be coming into our area. Chris Soules, the famed farmer who starred on ABC's The Bachelor will be on hand to meet fans. The All-Star festivities will be a two-day celebration of Lancaster County starting on Tuesday, July 12th and culminating with the All-Star Game. Look for more All-Star Game information in the coming weeks.
Friday, July 15th will be a HUGE night when the Zooperstars invade Clipper Magazine Stadium. The unique show features hilarious inflatable characters with clever names such as Harry Canary, Tommy Laswordfish, Clammy Sosa, Shark McGwire, and many more! The performance combines synchronized dance routines, acrobatics, tricks and comedy that connect with fans of all ages. Also slated for July 15th is the 2nd Annual Schreiber Pediatric Helicopter Duck Drop immediately following the Barnstormers' game. Hundreds of rubber ducks will be dropped from a helicopter onto the outfield grass where fans can win different prizes by picking up winning ducks. Fans will be able to buy ducks for the helicopter drop as well as purchase ducks for the Rubber Duckie Race in September at the game. Proceeds from the duck sale will all be directed to Schreiber Pediatric. Ducks will be available individually or in specially priced packages.
A "Stitch and Pitch" game will be held on Sunday, July 17th as quilters, knitters and those who know the cross-stitch will create clothing items for charity. Latin Heritage Day will be held on July 17th as well, so expect festive entertainment and delicious specialty food items!
The Cowboy Monkey Rodeo will make a 2nd appearance at Clipper Magazine Stadium on Friday, July 22nd. There is no show as unique as the Cowboy Monkey Rodeo in all of professional sports and entertainment. There will also be a custom game worn jersey auction to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project presented by CPRS Physical Therapy.
The Barnstormers will celebrate Christmas in July on Saturday, July 23rd. The first 1,000 fans 16 and older will receive a Barnstormers Ski Cap upon entering the Stadium. A special festive Christmas fireworks show will happen immediately after the game with Christmas music and lots of red and green fireworks. Fans can also expect an appearance by a jolly old fellow from the North Pole along with plenty of Christmas Carols. Additionally, look for the Falmouth Goat Races to hold a goat parade around the Stadium and then stage a series of highly entertaining mini-races with their costumed goats before the game.
Engle Printing & Publishing will hold their annual Engle Printing & Publishing Community Night on Thursday, August 11th celebrating and thanking the readers of the Merchandiser, PennySaver and Advertiser.
Former American League MVP Jose Canseco will be challenging fans in a softball bashing contest on Friday, August 19th. The first 1,000 fans will also receive the 2016 Barnstormers Team Card Set. PSECU will sponsor the Fireworks after the game along with a custom game worn jersey auction during the game to benefit the Children's Miracle Network.
Bird-In-Hand Bakeshop will sponsor the 4th Annual Whoopie Pie Night on Saturday, August 20th. 3,000 whoopie pies will be handed to fans as they enter Clipper Magazine Stadium. There will be a whoopie pie eating contest and a charity auction for a massive three-foot whoopie pie. The first 1,000 kids 14 and under will also receive a Barnstormers Tin Lunch Box upon entering the stadium courtesy of Wise Snacks.
Mad Chad Taylor the Chainsaw Juggler will be juggling knives and chainsaws and other dangerous objects on Friday, August 26th. You will be amazed at Mad Chad's dexterity and fearlessness!
The 3rd Annual Recovery Day program returns to Clipper Magazine Stadium on Sunday, August 28th. Last year's event welcomed all of the 12-Step programs onto the field for a moving ceremony that acknowledged the progress that many of our Lancaster County residents are making. A "Recovery Walk" down Harrisburg Avenue prior to the game will start the proceedings and there is the possibility of another big name star attending the program, similar to last year's appearance from the great Dwight "Doc" Gooden.
The "100 Women Who Care" coalition will be presenting a check to a worthy Lancaster County Non-Profit Organization in excess of $10,000 on Thursday, September 8th. This special evening will pay tribute to Women-Owned Businesses and women in business in the Susquehanna Valley.
Saturday, September 10th is Star Wars Night, when Darth Vader and all his colleagues from the historic film series invade Clipper Magazine Stadium. The fireworks program will be themed to the music of Star Wars courtesy of Pyroillusions.
The 15th Anniversary of one of the most solemn days in American History will be on Sunday, September 11th. The Annual Memorial Stair Climb will be held in the morning as firefighters from all over the Northeast come to Clipper Magazine Stadium in full gear to walk up each step of the Stadium for two hours as they replicate the stair climb of those firefighters who gave all back in 2001. Each firefighter who walks will wear a lanyard featuring a photo of one of the firefighters who perished on 9/11. September 11th will be declared "First Responder's Day" presented by ServPro of Lancaster East. Custom kid-designed game worn jerseys will also be auctioned during the game to benefit the Penn State Children's Hospital.
Milton Hershey Bobbleheads will be presented to the first 1,000 fans in attendance on Tuesday, September 13th. Not many realize that Milton Hershey's first candy factory was right here in downtown Lancaster. Milton Hershey remains one of the most iconic business names in American history. The Milton Hershey Bobblehead, sponsored by Milton Hershey School, is sure to be a collectors' item.
BIG news was released just last week when LGH/Penn Medicine & CHOP were announced as the 2016 Season Presenting Sponsors following a fantastic 2015 season sponsored by Rodgers & Associates. This multifaceted program will feature a "Patient Story" at Saturday Night Barnstormers' games, either before the First Pitch or before the Fireworks Presentation. A Lancaster County native who has received care at Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine and/or The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia will be introduced to the fans. The patient's story will be presented on the Video Board. Each patient story will then be available on the Barnstormers' website and many digital media platforms.
