Barnstormers Add to Offensive Line

DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers have signed offensive lineman TJ Jackson to the 2023 roster, Head Coach Dave Mogensen announced today.
Jackson (6-7, 360, Virginia Tech) joins the Iowa Barnstormers for his rookie season in the Indoor Football League (IFL). Collegiately, Jackson played at Virginia Tech for four seasons. While with the Hokies, Jackson appeared in 23 games contributing to special teams and at right guard. Jackson transferred to Ohio University for his final collegiate season playing in 12 games with the Bobcats.
"TJ is wildly athletic for a man his size, he was a versatile weapon for Virginia Tech along their offensive line and was dominating in his final collegiate season at Ohio University," said Head Coach Mogensen. "His college success led to an opportunity with the New Orleans Saints. If not for a minor injury sustained in camps with the Saints, he most likely would have been signed there. TJ is ready to roll and use a great season with the Barnstormers to get back on the NFL radar."
Jackson will enter the Iowa Barnstormers 2023 Training Camp in the Spring.
