DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers have signed offensive lineman Cam Johnson to the 2023 roster, Head Coach Dave Mogensen announced today.

Johnson (6-6, 325, Fort Valley) joins the Iowa Barnstormers for his first season in the Indoor Football League (IFL). Collegiately, Johnson spent four seasons at the University of South Carolina redshirting as a true freshman walk-on in 2016 and continuing to redshirt his freshman and sophomore seasons working with the scout team. In his graduate season, Johnson transferred to Fort Valley State University where he appeared in eight games with the Wild Cats.

"Cam is a large man with a very impressive college background spending four years in the SEC with South Carolina and then transferring to Fort Valley where he was an All-Conference player," said Head Coach Mogensen. "He has a great frame and athletic ability and should be someone that comes in and immediately pushes to grab one of the offensive line spots for us in 2023."

Johnson will enter the Barnstormers 2023 Training Camp in the Spring.
