
Barbarito Named Director of Ticket Sales and Service for Broomfield Sports and Entertainment

Broomfield, Colo. - Broomfield Sports and Entertainment today announced the appointment of Joseph Barbarito as Director of Ticket Sales and Service of the Broomfield Event Center, Rocky Mountain Rage hockey team and Colorado 14ers basketball team. Barbarito joins the staff from the Colorado Crush, of the Arena Football League, where he served in a similar capacity since 2004.
"Joseph is highly professional and experienced in the Denver market. I am confident Joseph will be a great addition to our organization," said Rick Nichols, Executive VP and COO of Broomfield Sports and Entertainment.

As director of ticket sales and service, Barbarito is responsible for all aspects of the BSE's ticket department including sales, fan relations and customer service.
Barbarito comes to BSE with a strong sports background, especially with minor league teams, having served as the director of ticket sales and service for the Colorado Crush (AFL) for two and half years. Prior to joining the Crush, Joseph was director of ticket sales and operations for the arenafootball2 Macon Knights for two seasons. He began his career in 1998 by accepting a position with the Toledo Mud Hens, the Triple A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers in 1998. In his six years with the Mud Hens, Barbarito worked his way up from starting as an intern to being named manager of group sales 2001.
A native of Truxton, NY, Barbarito graduated from the State University of New York, College at Cortland in 1998. He currently resides in Thornton, CO with his dog "Vinny".
