DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers have re-signed defensive back Jordan Baldwin to the 2023 roster, Head Coach Dave Mogensen announced today.

Baldwin (6-1, 195, Louisiana Tech) returns to the Iowa Barnstormers for his third season in the Indoor Football league (IFL) and second season with the team. Last season, Baldwin appeared in 10 games with his goggles where he collected 53.5 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, one interception, and one pass breakup earning IFL honors as Defensive Player of the Week in week 9. Before joining the Iowa Barnstormers for the 2022 season, Baldwin made his IFL debut with the Sioux Falls Storm in 2021 where he appeared in 10 games tallying 32 total tackles, one interception, and two pass breakups.

Baldwin will enter the Barnstormers 2023 Training Camp in the Spring.

"Jordan was a big free agent signing for us last off-season and proved his worth in 2022 as a hard hitting safety," said Head Coach Mogensen. "His first season as a Barnstormer was incomplete due to a season ending injury, Jordan is fully healthy and will once again take on a strong leadership role in our secondary this season."
