
Baldwin Back for a Fifth Season

WINNIPEG - Winnipeg Goldeyes manager Rick Forney announced today the signing of left-handed pitcher Zach Baldwin.
Baldwin, 29, returns to Winnipeg for his fifth season after finishing his post-secondary education at West Virginia State. In 28 games last season, Baldwin went 5-1 with a 4.50 ERA and made three starts. He has a 19-15 record and 4.08 ERA in his four previous seasons with the Goldeyes.
Baldwin will start tonight for the Goldeyes in the second game of a three-game weekend series with the Gary SouthShore RailCats.
The Goldeyes now have 22 players on their roster, including 12 pitchers and 10 position players.
