Bagnieski's 4-Homer Night Marks History in Ogden

June 25, 2025 - Pioneer League (PL)
Ogden Raptors News Release

Connor Bagnieski put on a once-in-a-lifetime performance tonight at Lindquist Field, launching four home runs and driving in seven as the Raptors rolled Northern Colorado 14-2 to take a commanding 2-0 series lead.

Bagnieski homered in the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 8th innings, finishing 4-for-6 with seven RBIs and zero wasted swings. His monster night marks one of the most dominant single-game performances in Raptors franchise history, having become the first player in 30+ years to tally four home runs in one game.

The fireworks started early, with Bagnieski's first blast - a three-run shot in the opening frame - setting the tone. Christopher Sargent Jr. followed with a three-run homer of his own in the second, and the Raptors never looked back. Sargent finished 2-for-3 with four RBIs, while True Fontenot, Dylan Wilkinson, and Cole Jordan all chipped in multi-hit nights.

Ogden posted 16 hits total, scored in five different innings, and had seven different players cross the plate.

Shane Gustafson earned the win on the mound, working six strong innings and allowing just one earned run. The bullpen was lights out again, with Nico Saltaformaggio, Sean Wiese, and Christian Griffin each tossing a clean inning to close it out.

With the win, Ogden improves to 17-15 and stays unbeaten at home this week.

The midway match of the series is set for Thursday, June 26, at Lindquist Field. First pitch is at 6:30 PM, and it's packed with deals: America First Bank Night, O-Tech Night, and half-price Pepsi fountain drinks and 16 oz domestic beers all night long, you're not going to want to miss it.
