Sacramento River Cats News Release
The Sacramento River Cats (60-39) blew a 2-1 lead to the Fresno Grizzlies (41-57) Thursday, as 3B Clay Bellinger and 1B Francisco Santos hit back-to-back home runs off RHP Chad Harville in the ninth inning en route to a 3-2 Grizzlies win. RHP Chad Harville (2-5) took the loss for Sacramento. RHP Frank Castillo started the game and received no decision, despite allowing just 1 ER on 4 H in 7.0 IP.
RHP Matt Montgomery (2-0) earned the win in relief for Fresno, RHP Manny Aybar picked up his 13th save of the year. 2B Esteban German led the Cats' offense, going 2-for-4 with 1 RBI. The River Cats loaded the bases in the ninth, but Aybar struck out CF Chris Prieto for the final out of the game.
