
Away Game Watch Party Adjusted, Broadcast Coverage Announced

SOUTHAVEN, MS --- The Mississippi RiverKings of the Central Hockey League (CHL) today announced an adjustment to the Official Away Game Watch Party schedule at the Southaven Buffalo Wild Wings. The team also announced its broadcast schedule for this weekend's schedule of games.
This weekend, the Friday game between the RiverKings and Missouri Mavericks from Missouri will be shown at the Southaven Buffalo Wild Wings, 7188 Airways Boulevard north of Goodman Road, beginning at 7:00 PM. Fans are encouraged to come out and watch the game with players not on the road trip, as the CHL-TV feed of the game will be shown on the big screen with the play-by-play of RiverKings Media Coordinator Bob Bakken calling the action.
There will not be a showing of Sunday's game at Buffalo Wild Wings, as earlier announced. The remainder of the regular season schedule for Away Game Watch Parties is as follows:
The updated schedule of dates for Away Game Watch Parties at Buffalo Wild Wings are as follows: Friday, January 14th - at Missouri (7:05 PM start) Friday, February 11th - at Bloomington (7:05 PM start) Friday, February 18th - at Wichita (7:05 PM start) Wednesday, March 2nd - at Arizona (8:05 PM start) Friday, March 4th - at Arizona (8:05 PM start) Sunday, March 20th - at Missouri (5:05 PM start) Sunday, March 27th - at Wichita (5:05 PM start)
All three games this weekend can be heard on the Official Flagship Radio Station of RiverKings hockey in the Mid-South, Sports 56, WHBQ-AM (560 AM) and www.sports56whbq.com. Pre-game coverage will be 15 minutes prior to the opening face off of each game with the Voice of the RiverKings Bob Bakken providing the action.
Fans can also log in and watch the game live on their home computer through the CHL-TV service found through the "Watch Live" button on the team website home page at www.riverkings.com.
Also note, there will be no Coach's Show radio broadcast from O'Charley's Restaurant in Southaven tonight due to the CHL All-Star break. The next Coach's Show program on Sports 56, WHBQ-AM will be on Monday, January 17th.
Next action for the RiverKings will be Friday, January 14th, when Mississippi starts a three-game weekend at Missouri, a game that starts at 7:05 PM. Saturday, January 15th, the RiverKings play at Evansville at 7:35 PM, and on Sunday, January 16th, Mississippi finishes the road trip in a 4 PM (Central time) game at Fort Wayne.
Next home action for the RiverKings will be on Tuesday, January 18th, against the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs at the DeSoto Civic Center. Game time is 7:05 PM and Hockey For Humanity is the night's featured non-profit MVP.
