
Austin Toros Improve to 3-3 with a Win against the Reno Bighorns

AUSTIN, Texas Dec. 8 2013- The Austin Toros had a convincing 116-87 victory over the Reno Bighorns Sunday afternoon at Cedar Park Center.
On assignment from the Spurs, Aron Baynes had a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Nando De Colo led all scorers with 32 points, eight rebounds, six assists and Malcolm Thomas finished with 23 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Ra'shad James led the Reno Bighorns in scoring with 17 points and five rebounds.
The Toros and Bighorns tied only once during the game early in the first quarter. The Toros led by as many as 29 points throughout the contest and shot 53% from beyond the arc. The Bighorns struggled to close the gap, scoring only two of 15 (13.3%) from the three-point range and a 42.3% field-goal percentage for the night.
The Reno Bighorns (1-5) travel to Rio Grande Valley Dec. 10 to take on the Vipers. The Austin Toros (3-3) play again Dec. 12 at 11:00am in Cedar Park Center against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
