Austin Toros Announce Returning Players and Camp Invitees

AUSTIN, TX (October 31, 2013) - The Austin Toros today announced the names of nine returning, affiliate and local tryout invitees headed to training camp prior to the start of the 2013-14 NBA D-League season. The list includes 2012 D-League Championship teammates Eric Dawson, Flip Murray and Terrance Woodbury as well as recent Spurs training camp participants Courtney Fells and Myck Kabongo. NBA veteran Josh Howard will also attend the training camp scheduled to begin Nov. 7. The Toros will select additional prospects during the 2013 NBA D-League draft this Friday night.

Fans can join head coach Ken McDonald and staff, along with camp invitees Myck Kabongo and Courtney Fells, for the 2013 NBA D-League Draft Friday, Nov. 1st at BlackFinn Austin at the Domain (11410 Century Oaks Terrace) . Selections begin at 6 p.m. and t he Toros have the 12th pick. The draft party begins at 5:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

The Toros home opener is Sunday, Dec. 1st at 3:00 p.m. against the Delaware 87ers at Cedar Park Center. For ticket information, please visit austintoros.com or call (512) 236-8333. Season and group tickets are available now. Single game tickets go on sale November 1st.
