(CEDAR PARK, TEXAS - FEB. 26, 2015) ?- The Austin Spurs fought off the Reno Bighorns 112-104 Thursday night on the SWBC Court inside the Cedar Park Center. Jonathan Simmons scored 24 points and San Antonio assignee Kyle Anderson recorded his 11th double-double (17 points, 14 rebounds) to lead the Spurs' charge.
Austin's Orlando Johnson posted a near triple-double (22 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists) and Erik Murphy chipped in a double-double (12 points, 10 points). Jarell Eddie contributed 19 points, connecting on five three-point attempts in the winning effort.
The Spurs trailed 59-50 at halftime, but made a strong push in the second half. Austin outscored the Bighorns 37-25 in the third quarter and gained a lead they would not give up. The Spurs outrebounded Reno 56-37 on the night.
Reno's attack was led by Tajuan Porter (29 points), Reggie Moore (18 points), David Wear (15 points), and Ra'shad James (11 points).
