GRAND RAPIDS, MICH.- FEB. 26- Local Grand Rapids company and Drive partner, Terryberry, will host a Charitable Jersey Takeover Night on Fri., Feb. 27th as the Drive battle the Delaware 87ers at 7pm at the DeltaPlex Arena. Players will wear customized GR Drive/Terryberry jerseys to be auctioned off post-game with all proceeds benefitting Kids' Food Basket.

The post-game auction will feature white and lead jerseys with the top five overall bidders getting a photo and meet-and-greet with the player. Those interested in purchasing a jersey can bid throughout the game with final call 10 minutes post-game.

"Terryberry is thrilled to partner with the Grand Rapids Drive to support Kids' Food Basket and children throughout West Michigan through this fundraising effort and additional awareness of childhood hunger in our community," said Mike Byam, Terryberry Managing Partner.

Several players from the Drive visited Kids' Food Basket Wednesday, February 25th to learn more about the cause and help decorate and pack Sack Suppers, nutritious evening meals. "We know that while poverty is very complex, feeding a child is not. When kids have access to nourishing food, their minds and bodies grow strong and they do better in school," says Bridget Clark Whitney, the Executive Director of Kids' Food Basket. "Because of the generous support from the Grand Rapids Drive, we can provide children daily access to nutritious Sack Suppers that contain the brain food, healthy habits, and a touch of love to help local kids thrive."

Kids' Food Basket will also be the 50/50 beneficiary for the night.
