AUSTIN - The Austin Spurs today announced that they have acquired forward Jai Smith from the available player pool.
Smith, 6-8/235, was most recently with the Sioux Falls Skyforce where he appeared in six games and averaged 1.7 points and 2.8 rebounds in 7.0 minutes of play. Prior to the Skyforce, Smith played in 24 games with Overtime Elite for the 2021-22 season and averaged 9.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 19.9 minutes per game.
Smith will be available tomorrow for the Spurs as they host the Greensboro Swarm at the AT&T Center with a 7 p.m. tipoff.
