Austin FC Midfielder Alex Ring Named to MLS Team of the Week for Week 32

Austin, TEXAS - Austin FC Club Captain and midfielder Alex Ring earned a selection to the Major League Soccer (MLS) Team of the Week for Week 32 after recording an assist and five (5) total chances created in Sunday afternoon's 2-1 win over Houston Dynamo FC at Q2 Stadium.

Just before halftime, Ring's pass found Sebastián Driussi at the edge of the penalty area, setting up the Argentine for what would prove to be the match-winning goal. In addition to picking up his second assist of the season, Ring contributed to a solid team defensive performance, tallying three (3) clearances, two (2) interceptions and two (2) tackles.
