
Attack Sign Defencemen John Banks from BCHL Sherwood Park Crusaders

The Owen Sound Attack announced Monday afternoon the signing of Defencemen John-Alex Banks from the Sherwood Park Crusaders for the upcoming 2025-26 Attack season.
Banks comes with a recorded 7 goals, 24 assists and 31 points in a 47 game splayed season with the Crusaders during the 2024-25 season. Showcasing a strong offensive flare and high-end feet, Attack General Manager Dale DeGray says he looks forward to seeing Banks with an Attack jersey on come September time.
"We believe he will fit seamlessly into our group and add to the offensive side of our game. Welcome to the organization John."
Native to Secaucus, New Jersey, Banks has alsohas a history along side the Attack's third round pick (57th overall) in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection Draft, Nicholas Sykora. Both having crossed paths with the North Jersey Avalanche.
"I had great conversations with the GM and the coaching staff about Owen Sound Attack and I'm very excited to be part of this team, Banks said. I'm ready to give my all and help the team succeed."
