Scott Giles scored twice, while Marcus Carroll, Marek Bartanus, Andrej Sekera, and Mike Angelidis had singles as the Owen Sound Attack skated to a 6-3 win over the visiting Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.
Ron Oatt Shoes Attacker of the Week Michael Ouzas stopped 30 of 33 shots for his 19th win of the season.
The Owen Sound Attack improves to 27 wins, 21 losses, 3 overtime losses, and 3 shootout losses. That gives them 60 points on the season and 5th in the Western Conference. They are 5 points ahead of Saginaw and 6 points in front of Windsor.
The Attack are now undefeated in 3 in a row and will try to make it 4 when the Belleville Bulls visit the Bayshore on Sunday afternoon, February 12 at 2:00pm. It is Cram the Den afternoon with one lucky fan winning a $100 gift certificate from Steve and Kim's Food Basics every time the Attack scores a goal. Plus someone will win the grand prize of a bar fridge from Modern Appliances in Hanover. Fans are encouraged to bring their skates to the game and skate with the Attack players after the game which is included in the price of admission to the game.
