Attack and Shorty's to Hold Third Annual "Eat Your Heart Out" Charity Dinner

The Owen Sound Attack in partnership with Shorty's Classic Grill and the Heart and Stroke Foundation is pleased to announce that the third annual Shorty's Classic Grill "Eat Your Heart Out" Night will be held following the game on Sunday, January 30th when the Attack play host to the Erie Otters at 2:00pm.

In it's third year, the "Eat Your Heart Out" Charity Dinner allows fans to bid on a private dinner with players at Shorty's Classic Grill. Dinner for two is included in the winning bid and winning bidders are also allowed to bring up to two additional guests at their own expense. All of the proceeds raised from this event go directly to the local Heart and Stroke Foundation.

"This event has really grown the last two years.", stated Attack Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Brent Fisher. "It is one of the only events that really allow fans to get some personal face time with the players away from the rink and a fun and relaxed setting. Any person that has participated in the event the last two years will tell you they had a great time."

Shorty's Classic Grill in downtown Owen Sound has supported this event the past two years and although they are normally closed on Sunday's, they open for this one of a kind event. Stelios Dimakos, owner of Shorty's Classic Grill has been kind enough the past two years to donate the food and staff time for this event.

Fans are encouraged to visit the South Concourse on Saturday, January 29th (when bidding begins) and Sunday January 30th to submit their bid for the Shorty's Classic Grill "Eat Your Heart Out" Charity Dinner.
