
Atlanta Hawks Recall Tavares from NBA Development League

ATLANTA, GA - The Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club has recalled center Edy Tavares from the Austin Spurs of the NBA Development League, it was announced today by President of Basketball Operations/Head Coach Mike Budenholzer.
Tavares has appeared in seven games in the D-League this season (five with Austin and two with Canton), averaging 9.3 points, 9.6 rebounds and 2.9 blocks in 23.1 minutes (.618 FG%, .821 FT%). In the Spurs' win last night over Santa Cruz, he finished with five points, 13 rebounds and four blocks in 26 minutes.
