
Bighorns End 2015 with a Victory over Bakersfield

RENO, NV - The Reno Bighorns ended their last game in 2015 on a high-note, streaking to their biggest win of the season with a 123-97 victory over the Bakersfield Jam Wednesday night at the Reno Events Center.
Ricky Ledo paced the Bighorns with 26 points and six rebounds as Vince Hunter tallied 26 points and eight rebounds. David Stockton logged his first double-double of the season with 21 points, 11 assists and six rebounds.
In the first quarter, Ledo led the Bighorns with seven points and two rebounds. Hunter followed Ledo closely with six points and two rebounds. Stockton had five points in the quarter.
Ledo led the Bighorns in the second quarter with 12 points and two assists. Reggie Hearn and Hunter notched six points each in the quarter as Erick Green tallied seven points and two assists.
The Bighorns went into the locker room at the half leading the Jam 62-52. The Bighorns went 60 percent from the three-point range compared to the Jam's 33 percent.
The Bighorns grabbed onto the lead during the third quarter and never let it go. Hunter led the Bighorns in the third quarter, netting eight points and grabbing three rebounds while Stockton notched seven points, four rebounds and five assists.
During the final quarter, Green notched seven points as Hunter tallied six points and three rebounds. Stockton had five points and three assists in the quarter while Ledo notched four points. The Bighorns outscored the Jam 28-19 in the final quarter.
During the second half, the Bighorns went 22-40 (55%) from the field compared to the Jam going 17-51(33%) from the field and outscored the Jam 61-45 in the second half.
The Bighorns currently lead the Pacific Division with 9-7 record.
The Bighorns next travel to Texas to face the Austin Spurs on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 5 p.m. (PST) before returning to the Reno Events Center on Monday, Jan. 4 to host the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
