
Atlanta Hawks Assign Jenkins and Payne to NBA D-League's Fort Wayne Mad Ants

ATLANTA, GA ----- The Atlanta Hawks have assigned guard John Jenkins and forward/center Adreian Payne to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the NBA Development League, it was announced today by Head Coach Mike Budenholzer.
Jenkins, in his third season with the Hawks, has appeared in one game in 2014-15 (11/15 at Cleveland), finishing with 12 points, one rebound and one steal in 21 minutes (5-10 FGs, 1-3 3FGs, 1-1 FTs).
Payne appeared in two games with the Mad Ants last weekend (at Erie on 11/21 and 11/22), averaging 12.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 blocks in 31.1 minutes. In the 11/22 contest, he totaled 17 points, 13 rebounds (five on the offensive glass), two assists and two blocks in 31 minutes (4-9 FGs, 9-11 FTs). He was Atlanta's first-round pick (15th overall) in 2014.
