ATLANTA, July 2, 2012 - The Atlanta Dream Skills Academy presented by Georgia Power, a youth basketball clinic featuring Atlanta Dream players and coaches, will be held July 16 at Mason Creek Middle School in Winston, Ga. The clinic is open to boys and girls ages 7-15.

The first session for boys and girls ages 7-11 will run from 9 a.m. until noon, with registration starting at 8:30 a.m. The second session for boys and girls ages 12-15 will take place from 1-4 p.m., with registration starting at 12:30 p.m.

The Atlanta Dream Skills Academy presented by Georgia Power is designed for basketball players of all skill levels who want to improve their fundamentals. Participants receive special instruction from Atlanta Dream players, coaches and Skills Academy staff, a Skills Academy t-shirt, a lower-level ticket to an upcoming Atlanta Dream game and access to the Special Georgia Power Get Plugged In Q&A Session with Dream players and coaches. The Atlanta Dream is in its fifth season this summer at Philips Arena as part of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), the world's longest-running women's professional sports league. The Dream is the defending two-time, back-to-back Eastern Conference Champion. The next home game is scheduled for Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. against the Chicago Sky.
