ATL UTD 2 vs Charleston Battery Rescheduled

ATLANTA - Atlanta United 2 today announced its previously postponed match against Charleston Battery is rescheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 7:30 p.m. EST at Fifth Third Bank Stadium in Kennesaw, Georgia.

The original match on Friday, July 5 was delayed one hour and 35 minutes due to lightning in the area of Fifth Third Bank Stadium. It began at 9:05 p.m. and lasted 11 minutes before it was abandoned due to inclement weather. The rescheduled contest will be played in its entirety from the opening kickoff.

Tickets from the July 5 match will be valid for the rescheduled date. Fans with tickets to the original match will be notified via email on details pertaining to the Sept. 18 match.

ATL UTD 2 returns to action on Saturday, July 13 against New York Red Bulls II at MSU Soccer Park at 5 p.m. ET (ESPN+).
