Corpus Christi Sharks News Release
Little Rock AR - After digging a 26 point 3rd quarter hole, the Sharks made a valiant comeback and tied the score at 47 to end the third quarter. The comeback came up short however as the twisters scored 10 unanswered 4th quarter points to seal the deal.
Sharks QB Sedale Threat had an up and down performance going 21-41 for 244 yards and 4 TD's through the air and picked up another 46 yards and 2 td's on the ground. Threatt also however turned the ball over 3 times, including the interception that ended up sealing the win for the Twisters.
Still. Corpus Christi (2-12) has to take a number of positives away from this game as they prepare for their final home game next week against the Bossier Shreveport Battle Wings. The first and foremost is the fact that they fought their way back after a lot of early adversity.
As for the Twisters (10-4), they remain in first place in the southwest division and get set to take on the very tough Tulsa Talons next week.
