Arizona Sundogs News Release
PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - After taking three of four possible points in Allen over the weekend, the Arizona Sundogs swing through South Texas to close out their five-game road trip against Laredo and Rio Grande Valley this week.

Friday at Allen, 3-2 Win
After trading goals in each of the first two periods, Kyle Hood scored the game-winner midway through the third to give the Sundogs their first road win of the season. Daymen Rycroft and Craig Macdonald each had three-point nights for Arizona. Hood's goal extended his point streak to six games in the win.
Saturday at Allen, 6-5 (OT) Overtime Loss
After combining for just two goals in the first forty minutes of play, a wild third period saw Allen and Arizona score eight total goals. Kyle Hood tied the game at 5-5 with a minute remaining in regulation before Allen's Colton Yellow Horn won the game in overtime. Hood extended his point streak to seven games with a shorthanded goal in the second period.

Daymen Rycroft recorded his 400th career point with an assist in Friday's game at Allen. Tyler Butler tallied his 300th career point with a third period goal on Saturday against Allen. Craig Macdonald recorded his 150th career goal in Saturday's game at Allen. The Sundogs power play unit has scored a goal in six straight games now. Rycroft is two goals away from 200 in his pro career. Five of the Sundogs first seven games this season have been decided by one goal. The Sundogs are 2-1-2 in those one-goal finishes. Kyle Hood is currently third in the CHL with 10 points this season - four goals, six assists.
