The Arizona Rattlers have officially re-signed DL Seyvon Lowry for the 2024 IFL season.
This will be Lowry's second season with the Rattlers and fourth season playing professional football, making him a veteran.
In 2023, Lowry appeared in 8 games for the Rattlers. He recorded eight tackles (two for loss), one interception, one blocked kick, and one quarterback hit in those contests.
His interception was a pick-6 against Tulsa in the final seconds to secure a road win in a tie game before he took it 31 yards to the house.
Lowry has previous professional experience in the National Arena League with the Jacksonville Sharks. In the 2021-2022 season, he had 10 tackles and a defensive touchdown.
The Jacksonville, Florida native attended the University of Central Florida. In his four years at UCF, he had three interceptions and 46 tackles.
Coming out of First Coast High School in Jacksonville, Florida. Lowry was ranked 35th in the nation on ESPN's defensive end rankings. This came after a senior season in which he tallied 50 tackles, 17 sacks, and five forced fumbles.
