Arizona Rattlers Add Kicker to 2011 Roster

MESA, Ariz. - The Arizona Rattlers announced Tuesday the signing of K JOE SCHROEDER.
Joe Schroeder previously was the kicker for Sacred Heart University. A native of Jackson, NJ, Schroeder was selected as a member of the All Northeast Conference Team in 2008. He was also selected as the Special Teams Player of the Week for his week six performance against St. Francis (PA), where he connected on field goals of 45 and 42 yards.
Schroeder replaces Fabrizio Scaccia, who in 10 games with the Rattlers, connected on 69 of 74 PATS and added a field goal in 2010. Scaccia has gone on to tie a United Football League record with a 54-yard field goal and is currently signed to the San Francisco 49ers.
