Shock Make More Training Camp Moves

March 1, 2011 - Arena Football League (AFL)
Spokane Shock News Release

Spokane, WA: The Spokane Shock announced today that QB Bill Stull and OL Emmanuel Lockett have been added to the roster and DL Terence Moore has been placed on re-assignment. In an additional move, the Shock traded WR Charles Dillon to the Chicago Rush for claim order position.

Stull, 6-3 215, started his professional career with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2010. After being released by the Chiefs, Stull signed with the UFL's Hartford Colonials and was released in training camp.

Prior to the start of his professional career, Stull completed 60% (421/694) of his passes for 5,284 yards with 32 touchdowns and only 18 interceptions for the University of Pittsburgh Panthers. Stull was the first QB to win 10 or more games at Pitt since Dan Marino.

This will be Stull's rookie season in the AFL.

"Bill has a lot of potential - he has the size and the tools you need to be a successful quarterback in the AFL," Head Coach Rob Keefe explained. "Based on his film, he should be a good fit for our offense."

Lockett, 6-1 315, is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe where he appeared in 23 games. Prior to transferring to ULM, Lockett was named to the 2005-2006 All-Academic Team at Texas College. In 2005, Lockett helped guide the team to a birth in the NAIA Conference Championship game.

"You can never have enough depth on the offensive line," Keefe said. "Lockett has good technique and experience. When you combine those traits, you have the potential makings of a good player."

The defending ArenaBowl Champion Shock open the season on March 11 in San Jose against the SaberCats. Spokane hosts the Cleveland Gladiators the following week on March 19th. Season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the Shock office at 509 242 7462. Single game tickets, including tickets to the Joe Albi Stadium Summer Classic, are on sale now and can be purchased by contacting TicketsWest.
