Toronto Argonauts News Release

Mississauga, ON – The Toronto Argonauts are happy to welcome WR Chris Taylor and DE Keion Roberts to the championship roster. The Argonauts have also released former Ole' Miss star quarterback Romaro Miller.

Chris Taylor, 25, is a former Texas high school star who has spent time with several NFL clubs. The speedy receiver hails from Eric England's alma mater Texas A&M and entered professional football when he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 7th Round of the 2001 NFL Draft. In college, Taylor split time at wideout with now New England Patriots reserve receiver Bethel Johnson.

Keion Roberts is a recent graduate of Midwestern State University where he was named team captain in his senior season. Roberts, who suffers from Crohn's disease, was forced to withdraw from school in his junior year due to health complications. He was relegated to a hospital bed where his weight abruptly fell from 275 lbs to 208 lbs in just a few months. Roberts experienced a full recovery and was able to return to the Indians line-up playing in 10 games as a senior.
