Mississauga - The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is pleased to announce that WR Christian Heffernan has been signed to a practice roster agreement.
Heffernan is a former Western Ontario Mustang who was drafted by the Ottawa Renegades in the sixth round of the 2004 CFL Canadian Draft. Known for his quickness, Christian was a star track athlete while at Western. He shattered several school and CIS records in both long distance running and short-track racing. The gifted athlete was also drafted by the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball.
