Argos Add Reggie McNeal To Practice Roster

Mississauga - The Toronto Argonauts Football Club has added former Texas A&M star QB Reggie McNeal to the club's practice roster.

Originally drafted as a receiver in the 6th round (193rd overall) in the 2006 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals, McNeal played in 7 games in 2006 before being a final training camp cut on September 1, 2007.

Before joining the Bengals, McNeal was a starting quarterback at Texas A&M where he accumulated 6,992 yards passing and 44 touchdowns, while adding 2,005 yards on the ground on 411 rushes. McNeal was invited to the 2006 NFL Combine and ran the 40-yard dash in 4.35 seconds.

Personal: Reggie is the son of Regina and Rickey McNeal and spends his off-seasons in his hometown of Lufkin, Texas. He majored in Agricultural Development while at Texas A&M.
