
Arena Football League names All-Arena Teams
May 25, 2005 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I) News Release
NEW YORK â The Georgia Force, who have secured the No. 1 seed in the National Conference playoffs, led all AFL teams with four selections for the 2005 All-Arena First and Second Teams. The Colorado Crush, Los Angeles Avengers and Orlando Predators each had three selections. The Arizona Rattlers, Chicago Rush, Dallas Desperados, Las Vegas Gladiators, Nashville Kats, New Orleans VooDoo, New York Dragons, San Jose SaberCats and Tampa Bay Storm were each represented with one selection.
The Avengers led the way with three first-team selections: OL/DL SILAS DEMARY, WR/DB KEVIN INGRAM and K REMY HAMILTON. Orlando was the only other team with multiple first-team selections with WR/LB CORY FLEMING and DS KENNY MC ENTYRE earning spots.
The U.S. Army Ironman, Offensive Player and ADT Defensive Player of the Year will be announced the week of June 6. The U.S. Army All-Ironman team will be announced on Thursday, May 26. Following is the complete list of the 2005 All-Arena First and Second Teams:
