PASCO, WASH. - The Everett AquaSox (14-6) improved their Northwest League best record Wednesday night with a resounding 16-4 win over the Tri-City Dust Devils. Leading the league in batting, Everett pounded out 7 doubles and reached a season high 16 runs on 18 total base hits.

Everett pitcher Shawn Nottingham (3-0) went 6 shutout innings allowing only 3 singles, 3 base on balls while striking out 7. Nottingham entered the game with the second lowest ERA in the Northwest league at 0.48.

In the top of the seventh inning, Everett sent 12 men to the plate and scored 8 runs on 6 hits.

AquaSox first baseman, Brent Johnson, went 3-5 with 4 runs scored and catcher Omar Falcon went 3-5 with 3 runs scored. Seven AquaSox players finished the night with at least 2 base hits.

Tri-City third baseman Matt Macri went 2-5 with one RBI.
