LHP Ryan Lawlor gets the call in today's morning start in Wilmington. Today's game is the rubber game of the series and Lawlor will attempt to lead the Mudcats to their first series win of the season. Lawlor enters the start having appeared in one game so far this season. He held a potent Red Sox lineup to just one run and one hit over four solid innings in his Carolina League and Mudcats debut on 4/8 in Salem. He faced the minimum through three and held the Red Sox without a hit through three and 2/3 innings before giving up a single in the fourth. Lawlor finished his first full season league outing with three walks, four strikeouts and 65 pitches (35 strikes) thrown. He was 1-0 and pitched to a 2.30 ERA over eight games, including seven starts last season with the Danville Braves... The Mudcats have averaged 6.2 runs per game this season and are coming off their best offensive performance of the season. Carolina rallied for 15 runs and 15 hits last night while coming back from a 3-0 deficit to defeat the Blue Rocks 15-4 in game two of the series.

Today's game begins at 10:35 a.m. at Frawley Stadium in Wilmington, DE and will air on the Mudcats Radio Network with the pre game show beginning at 10:20 a.m.
