UNC Greensboro alumni RHP Max Povse and RHP Ryan Clark will get the games one and two starts for Carolina today in their doubleheader against the Red Sox at LewisGale Field in Salem. Both Povse and Clark were teammates in 2013 and 2014 while with UNC Greensboro and before being drafted by the Braves in 2014 and 2015 respectively. Povse gets the nod in game one and will be making his sixth start overall with the Mudcats. He was 1-3 and pitched to a 9.33 ERA last season during an injury plagued year that saw him finish on the disabled list. Clark starts in game two for Carolina. He was 6-1 and pitched to a 3.08 ERA in debut season with the Danville Braves last year.

Today's doubleheader begins at 2:05 p.m. at LewisGale Field in Salem, VA and will air on the Mudcats Radio Network with the pre game show beginning at 1:50 p.m.
