Frisco, TX (January 20, 2011) - After missing more than a month of action and 12 games overall, the Texas Legends announced today that starting guard Antonio Daniels will return from a finger injury tomorrow night as the Legends host the Maine Red Claws at 7:00 p.m. at HP Court inside Dr Pepper Arena.

Daniels went down with a torn ligament in a finger on his right hand on December 14 against the Tulsa 66ers. While the Legends are 6-3 with him in the lineup, Texas is 4-8 in his absence.

The 12-year NBA veteran is averaging 17 points, 5.2 rebounds and a team-best 8.2 assists through his first nine games with the Legends. Although he does not have enough games to qualify for the leader board, his 8.2 assists are third best in the D-League.

The fourth overall selection in the 1997 NBA Draft by the Vancouver Grizzlies, Daniels won an NBA Championship in 1999 with the San Antonio Spurs. He re-joins Sean Williams and Joe Alexander as the Legends that were first round NBA draft picks.

In 868 regular season NBA games, he averaged 7.6 points, 1.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists.

Only the Idaho Stampedes' Antoine Walker (893 regular season games) has more NBA experience than Daniels in the entire NBA D-League.

Great tickets for all Legends home games are still available by calling (214) 469-0822 or emailing the team at info@TexLegends.com.
