NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nashville Soccer Club announced today the international call-up for Aníbal Godoy by the Panamanian Football Federation for the First Round of the Concacaf Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 €žÂ¢ against Barbados and Dominica on March 25 and 28, respectively.

Godoy's next international appearance will mark his 100th match with Panama's National Team after the 30-year old leader began patrolling the midfield for his country on March 2, 2010. During his tenure with Panama, Godoy started in all three Group Stage matches at the 2018 FIFA World Cup €žÂ¢ and led Panama to two Concacaf Gold Cup Finals in 2013 and 2015.

The veteran leader appeared in 21 total matches for the Boys in Gold and led the team in fouls suffered with 51.
