
Aneloski Returns to RoughRiders

Cedar Rapids, Iowa- Defensemen Bryce Aneloski is returning to the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders after starting the season at Providence College, the RoughRiders announced today.
"We're happy that Bryce is going to be back with us. He was very solid player for us last year," said RoughRiders Coach and General Manager Mark Carlson.
Aneloski, 18, is expected to be available to play for the Riders when Cedar Rapids hosts the Indiana Ice next Thursday night. Aneloski scored eight goals- tied for eighth most among USHL defensmen- and totaled 20 points in 59 games with the RoughRiders last season while posting a plus/minus rating of +13. The Pekin, Illinois, native was originally selected by the RoughRiders in the eighth round of the May, 2007 United States Hockey League Entry Draft with the eighty-first overall pick after playing for the Team Illinois midget program.
The RoughRiders (15-5-1, 31 points) are in second place overall in the USHL. The Riders, who earned one point for a 3-2 overtime loss to the Lancers in Omaha last night, return home to take on the Fargo Force at 7:05 this evening.
Tickets for all RoughRiders home games- including tonight's game- can be purchased in person at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena ticket office, over the phone at (319) 261-4625 or online at www.roughridershockey.com. The ticket office is open from noon to 5:00PM on weekdays and from noon through the end of the second period on game days. Ticket prices range from $7 to $17 in advance and from $8 to $18 on game days.
The RoughRiders also offer the Flex Plan, which enables fans to purchase books of ten ticket vouchers that can be redeemed in any quantity for any regular season home game during normal box office hours. Fans who purchase the flex plan receive a significant discount ($21 off game day ticket prices) by investing in bulk tickets and can still enjoy the games of their choice in the seats they want.
