Andy Craven's Two-Goal Performance Earns Him USL Team of the Week Spot for Week Nine

SEATTLE, WASH. - Two goals from Sounders FC 2 forward Andy Craven secured victory for S2 in the club's last outing and earned him a second USL Team of the Week honor for the ninth week of the 2015 season. Craven was also named to the list in the first week of USL play for his contribution to a 4-2 victory over Sacramento Republic FC in S2's inaugural match, where Craven scored the club's historic first goal. Craven's two goals on Friday night lifted S2 (5-3-1, 16 points) to a 3-1 victory over Oklahoma City Energy FC at home last Friday night. S2 enters Round Two of Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup play against PDL side Kitsap Pumas SC on Wednesday, May 20 at 7:30 p.m. PT at Starfire Stadium. The team then travels to Portland for a rematch against Portland Timbers 2 (3-3-2, 11 points) at Merlo Field on Friday, May 22 (7:00 p.m. PT / SoundersFC.com ).
