Anderson picked up where Tucker Davidson left off on Thursday and increased his Double-A leading strikeout total to 129, which now ranks fourth in all of Minor League Baseball. The duo has combined for 15.0 innings of one-run baseball with no walks and 19 strikeouts over the first two games.

Pensacola took a 1-0 lead against Anderson in the second inning. Lewin Diaz was hit by an Anderson pitch to begin the inning, and after a strikeout, Mark Contreras and Joe Cronin hit back-to-back singles to load the bases. Aaron Whitefield plated Diaz on a fielders' choice.

The Braves quickly tied the game at 1-1 in the bottom of the inning on a sacrifice fly by Alejandro Salazar.

The M-Braves helped make the right-hander a winner by scoring three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning against Pensacola reliever Adam Bray (L, 3-3). Drew Waters led off with his second single of the game, and Ryan Casteel walked to put two runners on base. William Contreras brought both home on a line-drive double to center, and the M-Braves led for the first time at 3-1. After a strikeout, Trey Harris doubled down the left-field line bringing home Contreras, and it was 4-1. Harris collected his first two Double-A hits and finished 2-for-2 with the double and reached base safely four times. Contreras was 2-for-3 with a double, run and two RBI.

Waters ended the night 2-for-5, recording his league-leading 36th multi-hit game of the season. The 20-year-old leads all of Double-A baseball and is tied for third in all of Minor League Baseball with 124 hits.

Claudio Custodio (H, 3) surrendered a run on two hits in the eighth, pulling Pensacola within two at 4-2. Jordan Harrison (S, 2) came on for the second straight night and closed the game, striking out two, in a 1-2-3 top of the ninth inning.
