Anaheim Reassigns Left Wing Josh Brittain

Syracuse, NY (January 15, 2011) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have reassigned left wing Josh Brittain from the Crunch to Elmira (ECHL).

Brittain, 21, has appeared in 13 games with the Crunch this season, recording one assist and 48 penalty minutes. In addition, he has skated in 11 games with Elmira this year, compiling four points (1g, 3a) and 15 penalty minutes.

A native of Milton, Ontario, Brittain was selected by Anaheim in the third round, 71st overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

The Crunch make their return home from a season-high seven-game road trip to face Rochester on Saturday, January 15 at 7:30 p.m. at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena.
