Reading Royals News Release
Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced that the photograph submitted by Amy Noble of Reading was selected as the winner in the team's "R-Team/R-Town" Photo Contest. Noble's photograph taken in downtown Reading proudly (and cleverly) declaring the City of Reading as the "Home of the Royals" certainly captured the spirit of the contest, which called upon fans of the Royals to celebrate the connection between landmarks within the Greater Reading Region and their team. With her win, Noble takes home the top prize in the contest which includes having her photo displayed on the over-sized Opening Night Ticket in the 2007-08 Season Ticket Booklet, as well as having the image serve as the cover for the first Game Night Program book of the season. Noble will also receive a Royals game worn jersey from the 2006-07 season and two tickets to the Royals home opener against the Cincinnati Cyclones on Saturday, November 3 (7:05 pm).
The contest's panel of judges also selected 36 other winning photographs that will be displayed on the remaining tickets in the Season Ticket Booklets, i.e. the tickets for the other 35 regular season games and the first playoff game. The Royals' staff will notify those winners in the near future, and each of those persons will receive two tickets to the game in which their photograph is displayed. The Royals' organization wants to expressly thank everyone who participated in the R-Team/R-Town Photo Contest. Once again, our fans stepped up, stepped out, and came up with a number of clever ways to celebrate and honor our team and our town.
The Royals' home opener is on Saturday, November 3, 2007, against the Cincinnati Cyclones. Royals' full Season Tickets and Total Choice Flex Plans are now on sale. To obtain more information on becoming a part of Royals' hockey, call 610-898-PUCK to speak with Royals' ticket representative or visit the Royals website, www.royalshockey.com.
