
Ams Split Home-And-Home Weekend with Silvertips

Tri-City Americans News Release
After defeating the Silvertips 3-2 last night at the Toyota Center, the Americans wrapped up this weekend's home-and-home series tonight in Everett with a 4-1 loss.
Jalen Price scored for Everett 5:46 into the match. The Silvertips held on to their one goal lead until 4:13 second period when 2019 NHL Draft prospect Sasha Mutala tied the game for Tri-City off a nice pass from captain Nolan Yaremko.
Connor Dewar tallied his 27th goal of the season to take back the lead for Everett at 18:11. Nick Patterson extended their lead to 3-1 at 8:35 third period. Everett would go on to win 4-1 with a empty net goal from Bryce Kindopp.
With tonight's victory Everett evens out the season series 2-2. The two teams will match up at Angel of the Winds Arena again next Friday.
Tri-City was outshot 39-22.

The Americans play the Prince George Cougars at the Toyota Center on Tuesday 1/8.
