AMERICANS PREPARE FOR TWO BIG U.S. DIVISION TILTS
The Americans are preparing for a pair of big weekend home contests in the Three Rivers Coliseum this Friday, October 29th against the Everett Silvertips and Saturday, October 30th versus the archrival Spokane Chiefs. Game time each night is 7:05 pm. Both games can be heard on News Talk 870 KFLD beginning at 6:45 pm for the Farmers Insurance Warm Up Show.
This Friday is Tri-City Herald Family Night presented by KFFX Fox 11 and Perfection Glass. Four fans can attend the game for just $44 with a coupon from this Friday's Herald. Tri-City is 0-1against the defending Western Conference Champion Silvertips after a tough 3-2 home ice loss on October 10th. It's the second of 10 meetings this season between the clubs.
Saturday the Americans and Chiefs renew acquaintances in the 12-game "Highway 395" series. Spokane leads the season series 2-0. Every Saturday is Clear Channel Radio "Rock The Rink Night" presented by McCurley Integrity Dealerships and Tri-Cities Motor Sales at the Pasco Autoplex. Each Saturday during the regular season three lucky fans will get a chance to participate in a puck shoot. The winner each Saturday will qualify for a chance to win a new car on Saturday, March 19th. As an added bonus, all youth (3-17) and students (with valid current ASB cards) will be admitted for just $9.
This is the final chance for fans to bring non-perishable food items that will be donated to the less fortunate by McCurley and Tri-Cities Motor Sales as they team up to hold their annual Octoberfest Food Drive. Donation barrels will be available at the front of the Coliseum.
